New Client Assessment
Your First Visit will be an assessment. This will include a discussion with your Chiropractor about the reason for your visit, a Chiropractic Examination and a discussion of the next steps. If your Chiropractic understands that they can help they will put together your plan ready for next visit, your Report.
Book Online
You can book here on our website where you’ll fill in necessary forms with details about yourself before receiving a confirmation email of your visit. We will contact you by email with how you can best prepare for your visit – if you have any questions at all please feel free to phone us directly and we will be more than happy to walk you through the process.
Phone In
When you decide to book in, you will speak to one of our welcoming team who will ask some questions to help decide what the best next steps are for you. If you have any questions, queries or concerns please feel free to raise it with them, they will be more than happy to help!
Walk-In
We are located at Unit 9, City Business Centre, 6 Brighton Road, Horsham, RH13 5BB, our opening times are below. Whenever we are open you can book your first visit with us in person.
Your First Visit
New Client Assessment
Your First Visit will be an assessment. This will include a discussion with your Chiropractor about the reason for your visit, a Chiropractic Examination and a discussion of the next steps. If your Chiropractic understands that they can help they will put together your plan ready for next visit, your Report.
Following your History, a thorough Full Chiropractic Physical Examination will be done to find out specifically how your body is being limited and, more importantly, where your body requires help to get your nervous system back functioning at its best. This includes:
- Full Structural Assessment
- Full Tonal Assessment
- Neurological Testing
- Postural Scans (if any further testing is required, we have an extensive network of services where we refer you)
This is so we can gain as much as clarity as possible on exactly where your “problem” areas are, it’s not uncommon that these areas are located distant to your complaint.
Following the Physical Examination, if your Chiropractor understands that we can help you they will need time to analyse your History and Physical Examination Findings. This is so they can formulate your personalised care plan.
Your Second Visit
Report
This is the visit where your Chiropractor will go over everything that they found during your assessment and outline the plan to get you back to your best.
Once you have understood and agreed upon your Care Plan with your Chiropractor then you will usually receive your first Adjustment on this visit. No Care will begin without your full understanding and informed consent.
Your Chiropractic Check and Adjustment
Your visit with the Chiropractor will consist of a pre-check where it will be determined if you need an adjustment today. Each individual requires different adjustments based on your unique presentation.
Your early adjustments begin the gentle process of recovery for your body. Everyone responds differently in the early stages of care but some soreness may be present as a byproduct of the change the adjustment facilitates.
Your Chiropractor will need to be able to move you through full ranges of motion so please wear clothing that you are comfortable in and that allows full movement of your joints.
Ongoing Care
All New Practice Members are invited to our Workshop. This workshop is designed to deepen your udnerstanding about how your body works, how Chiropractic Care facilitate your healing and overall function and simple but powerful things you can actively do to support your progress.
This workshop is typically 30-minutes, you are encouraged to bring a friend or family member who will be supporting you through the process. Additionally, if you are not a Practice Member yet but are interested in how Chiropractic can help you function better, naturally, then contact one of the team and we can organise a suitable time to get you booked in for our next available talk.
Note: Practice Members are prioritised when booking spaces into our workshops.
